Avian Photo Exhibit

If you visit this website with any regularity, read Oregon Shores bulletins, or follow us on Facebook, you’ve seen Dennis White’s photos.  In fact, you’ve seen them often.  White is a CoastWatcher who contributes heavily with his camera.

You’ll have a chance to view his work—focusing on birds as subject matter, but ranging geographically from the Galapagos to the Oregon coast—at an exhibit at Depoe Bay’s Café C’Est La View (8 Bella Beach Dr., just north from the Thriftway grocery and on the other side of Hwy 101).  On Friday, Aug. 17, 4-6 p.m., the exhibit opens with a celebration.  Complimentary refreshments will be offered, and Dennis White will be on hand to share stories of his encounters with the birds he’s photographed.  “Come by for a great time and share your own travel tales and maybe get inspired for your next adventure!” says Dennis.

The event is free and open to all.  The exhibit will continue thereafter for a month on the café’s walls.
