On Saturday, Oct. 29, Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS and artist Ram Papish will be hosting "Wintering Birds of Netarts Bay: A Birding and Drawing Excursion" at the Netarts Community Center (4949 Netarts Hwy). The presentation will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with an additional hour outside for more birding and sketching (weather dependent).
About the event:
"This program will begin with a presentation on Netarts Bay Wintering Birds, followed by a Bird Drawing presentation. Participants will then practice their wintering bird drawings with Ram, followed by an outdoor excursion to Netarts Bay for winter birding and sketching (weather dependent). All birding levels are welcome!"
Basic drawing supplies will be provided. Participants should dress for the dynamic weather of the Oregon coast and are encouraged to bring rain gear, sturdy shoes, water, and snacks as needed.
