The Portland Audubon invites you to an evening training, where you'll learn about Black Oystercatchers and how to participate in the annual spring abundance survey (May 9-30). Light refreshments will be served. Over the past decade, many Kalmiopsis Audubon Society members have enjoyed participating in this survey which has helped to create useful data for understanding the status of these unique shorebirds.
The training will be held at the Port Orford Field Station (444 Jackson St, Port Orford), one block east of Crazy Norweigans.
