The South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve hosts a special screening of the second segment, "The Deep," of the acclaimed BBC nature documentary "Blue Planet II" on Feb. 9, from 1 p.m.- 2 p.m. at the South Slough Interpretive Center (four miles south of Charleston on Seven Devils Rd.). 

Blue Planet II uses cutting-edge breakthroughs in science and technology to reveal astonishing new creatures and extraordinary animal behaviors. "Visually break-taking, humbling, majestic television a the top of its game."- USA Today. The South Slough reserve will provide the big screen, great sound system, and fresh free popcorn.
