The three-day interactive workshop is designed to provide planners, local officials, emergency managers, and environmental groups with a “climate adaptation toolkit.” Segments of the agenda deal with climate science, risk assessment, adaptive planning and communication, among other topics. The workshop will also provide citizens seeking to engage their communities in addressing climate-related hazards with a chance to network and exchange ideas with others engaged in this field
Registration is required, as space is limited (but places currently remain available). To make a reservation or for more information, contact John Bragg, (541) 888-5558, ext. 129, john.bragg@state.or.us.
