What’s up with the weather? Our climate is changing, becoming hotter and more erratic. Join Guest Moderator Tom Calvanese (of OSU’s Port Orford Field Station) and fellow community members to watch a NOVA documentary "Decoding The Weather Machine" that aims to cut through the confusion around climate change. This free event is being held at the Port Orford Public Library (1421 Oregon St, Port Orford) at 6pm.
Why do scientists overwhelmingly agree that our climate is changing and that human activity is causing it? How and when will it affect us through the weather we experience? In this experience, you can join scientists around the world on a quest to better understand the workings of the weather and climate change on planet Earth, and discover how we can be resilient—even thrive—in the face of enormous change.
