The Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) presents the "This is How we Win: Climate Organizing 100 Series" to help Oregon voters understand the legislative problems and opportunities concerning effective climate action. These sessions are free and open to all. Each session can stand alone, but the intention of the series is to build upon eachother. This installment will be held remotely on Zoom.
According to OLCV: "The trainings will be held on the last Wednesday of each month starting in July and ending in September (7/27, 8/31, 9/28) at 5:30 p.m.
We'll start with Demystifying the Legislative Process 101. We'll answer questions like: how does Oregon's legislature work, what climate victories have we seen and what made them possible, and what's on the ballot this November? Our second installment will be Winning Elections 101-- what it takes to win and how you can be involved. The series will wrap-up with Canvassing 101, and put everything we've learned into practice to help elect Tina Kotek as Oregon's next Governor!"
