Speakers Alan Journet and Cathy Conway of Southern Oregon Climate Action Network (SOCAN) will present information about the impacts of climate change, along with updates from recent climate science reports and information about proposals in Oregon's legislature to address the problem. This event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 5-9 p.m., at the Chetco Public Library (405 Alder St.) in Brookings. The event is free and open to the public.
This event is sponsored by Coastal SOCAN, a new local organization forming that will collaborate with SOCAN to work on global warming issue
