Chuck Willer, executive director of the Coast Range Association, will give a presentation addressing “Options for Coastal Watershed Protection” on Saturday, March 2, 1 p.m. at the Netarts Fire Station Hall (1235 Fifth St. Loop, W.) in Netarts.  Admission is free.

Willer was invited to speak by local citizens concerned about their water quality and the management of their watershed.

The timber industry is Oregon’s number one carbon polluter –significantly contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and water pollution.  Willer’s talk will provide insights into Wall Street-driven forest management and describe viable near-term options for watershed protection as part of Oregon’s move towards a carbon transition.
