CoastWatch Clinic
If you have questions about CoastWatch, want to get tips on monitoring a shoreline mile, seek to have something you found on the shore identified, or think you might be interested in citizen science, here’s your chance. Fawn Custer, CoastWatch’s volunteer coordinator, will set up shop at the North Bend Public Library (1800 Sherman Ave.) from 12:30-2 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, for a CoastWatch clinic. She will discuss the program informally, and provide background information on CoastWatch’s various citizen science projects, but this is less a presentation than a tutorial. Fawn looks forward to answering questions and providing details.
Feel free to attend for the entire session on just drop by to ask a question. And if you know someone who might be interested in adopting a CoastWatch mile and/or participating in a citizen science project, please bring them along or send them Fawn’s way.
