Oregon Shores' CoastWatch is teaming up with Siuslaw National Forest staff and Coos Bay artist Elizabeth Roberts to clean marine debris from sensitive snowy plover habitat in the Oregon National Dunes Recreation Area. Three locations between Florence and Winchester Bay will be targeted over three days, February 16, 17 & 18. Intrepid volunteers may join one, two, or all three days for roughly 4 hours per day. CoastWatch will provide lunch, and the Forest Service staff will provide transportation from meeting points.
