CoastWatch Webinar

Celebrating Earth Day and kicking off a new series of CoastWatch webinars, Volunteer Coordinator Jesse Jones will host a “CoastWatch in the Pandemic” online session on Wednesday, April 22, beginning at 6 p.m. 

She will discuss the current state of CoastWatch and the coast, including updates on access and other current issues, and field questions on any CoastWatch or shoreline topic.  She will be joined by Oregon Shores board member Ed Joyce, a geologist and oceanographer, who will talk about the CoastWatch Environmental Stewardship Certificate program he has created at Clatsop Community College (among other topics).  The session will last about an hour.

Everyone is invited to join Jesse online.  There is no charge to participate.  To register, contact her at jesse@oregonshores.org.  She will then send an invitation with a link to join the event via Zoom.  It is not necessary to have a Zoom account to join the webinar.
