Curry County Commissioners’ Workshop

The Curry County Board of Commissioners is holding a workshop on natural resource policy on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 3-5 p.m.  Staff from various resource agencies, such as the Oregon Water Resources Department, Forest Service, and Coos Forest Protective Association (which fights fires on private land), have been invited to make presentations informing the commissioners, and members of the public who attend.  This presents an opportunity to learn about resource issues in the area, find out what the commissioners are hearing, and demonstrate concern.

The workshop will be held in the commissioners’ chambers, located on the upper level of the County Office Annex Building at 94235 Moore St. (across the street and north of the courthouse).
