Deadline to Comment on Sitka Sedge Master Plan

The draft master plan for the new Sitka Sedge State Natural Area, on the Sand Lake Spit, has been approved by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Commission.  The public now has a final chance to comment in the planning process.  Written comments on the draft plan are being accepted through 5 p.m. on December 31.

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is accepting written comments on the proposed adoption of the Sitka Sedge State Natural Area Master Plan. The plan is proposed for adoption as a state rule under Oregon Administrative Rule 736-018-0045 (see attached notice for additional information).
