Two central coast climate groups, 350 Oregon Central Coast and the Citizens’ Climate Lobby—Newport Group, will celebrate the 51st Earth Day online on Saturday, April 22, 7-9 p.m.
The event will include presentations from musicians, environmental organizations, natural resource agencies, and elected officials. Confirmed musicians include Chandler Davis, Bill Kucha, Terry Filer, Robert Rubin, Alex and his family, and Dave Orleans.
Organizations participating include the sponsors, MidCoast Watersheds Council, Oregon League of Conservation Voters, Lincoln County School District, and BLM’s Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. Commissioner Claire Hall has confirmed for the event. More musicians, organizations and elected officials will be added.
