Erosion Control with Native Plants Workshop

Join a collaboratively organized workshop with the Lincoln Soil and Water Conservaiton District (LSWCD) alongside the OSU Extension Service that will be addressing erosion control with native plants. This free workshop will take place on Thursday, December 6th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at the Lincoln County OSU Extension Office (1211 SE Bay Blvd, Newport).

The collaboration extends to a second weekend of events for the LSWCD 2018 Native Plant Sale. The goal of the plant sale is to engage the community with their local flora and to provide an educational opportunity focusing on the numerous wildlife and water-saving benefits of using native plants at home. The Native Plant Sale takes place Saturday December 8 and Sunday December 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the Newport High School (322 NE Eads St, Newport).
