The coalition working against the scheme to place an LNG export terminal on Coos Bay’s North Spit (of which Oregon Shores is an active member) is offering a series of workshops on how individuals can intervene with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to oppose the project’s application.

The only coastal workshop takes place Friday, Oct. 13, 4-7 p.m. at the Coos Bay Library (52 Anderson Ave.).  Knowledgeable activists will guide citizens through the process of becoming intervenors.

For more on the issue and how to intervene, and information about other workshops being held at inland locations, see our article on the subject.
