Fishery Management Seminar

A lecture on fishery management will be featured as part of the Fall Seminar Series at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB) on Friday, Nov. 22, 4 p.m. in OIMB’s Boathouse Auditorium. The speaker is Anne Beaudreau of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, speaking on “Fishing portfolios and fishermen’s perspectives on a changing ocean .” The talk is free and open to all.
Dr. Beaudreau, an associate professor in the university’s College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, specializes in studying fisheries and their ecology, conservation and human dimensions.
To reach the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium, park near the campus (63466 Boat Basin Rd.) and walk down the road past the Coast Guard housing.
