The Oregon Global Warming Commission will meet Thursday, November 17. The public portion of the meeting will be held from noon to 4 p.m. online.
At this meeting, the Commission will discuss:
- An updated proposal for evaluation criteria including co-benefits (e.g., health, jobs, and equity) to evaluate actions for inclusion in the Roadmap to 2035. The Commission is expected to finalize the evaluation criteria and weighting of the criteria at the meeting. The criteria and weighting will be used to evaluate and prioritize the actions.
- The draft recommendations for the Roadmap. The Commission will start to frame the Roadmap recommendations with the goal of finalizing the recommendations in mid-December or mid-January.
The agenda and meeting information, including how to listen in, is available on the Commission’s website. An updated proposal regarding evaluation criteria (including co-benefits) for the actions and weightings will be available prior to the meeting.
As always, general public comments may be submitted through the Commission's contact form online or by email. Comments can also be submitted through the online portal. The public is particularly encouraged to review and provide comments on the draft recommendations framework for the Roadmap to 2035 included in the meeting materials.
Members of the public will also have an opportunity to sign up during the meeting to make oral comments.
