Explore Beaver Creek Marsh and Ona Beach with the Yaquina Birders & Naturalists on Saturday, Nov. 23, beginning at 9 a.m. (for about two hours). The Beaver Creek State Natural Area, part of Brian Booth State Park, is found about a mile east on N. Beaver Creek Rd. from Ona Beach (on Hwy 101, about a mile north from Seal Rock). The event is free and open to all.
Park Ranger Brian Fowler will lead this field trip in search of waterfowl, wintering songbirds, and migrating birds of prey. Dress for variable weather and meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot for Beaver Creek State Natural Area. For more information call (706) 296-2862.
