Oregon State University's Marine Studies Initiative presents "Heceta Bank: Oregon's Hidden Wonder," on Dec. 7, 6:30-8:20 p.m. in Coos Bay’s Egyptian Theatre (229 S. Broadway). The short film features rare underwater footage of this marine habitat, and winds up with a Q&A panel. The event at the theatre will be immediately followed by an informal discussion at 7 Devils Brewery and Tap Room (247 S. 2nd).
