The Oregon Interagency Noxious Weed Symposium provides the state’s resource agency personnel a chance to check in with each other on how they are addressing invasive plant problems, and a chance for the public to listen in.

The symposium takes place Dec. 4-6 at the Lasells Center on the Oregon State University campus (825 S.W. 26th St. in Corvallis).

On the second day (Dec. 5), starting at a civilized hour, 10:45 a.m., the symposium will feature a series of case histories.  And on the third day (Thursday, Dec. 6), beginning at 8 a.m., the event will feature more case histories, including one on gorse (first talk of the day), of particular interest on the coast, and another on coastal lakes.  The symposium winds up at 12:30 p.m. on this day.
