King Tide 2016-2017, Round Three

The third and final round of this winter’s King Tide Project begins Tuesday, January 10, 2017 and runs through Thursday, January 12.  This is the last opportunity to help CoastWatch and the Coastal Management Program document the reach of the highest tides of the year (the “King Tides”) to track areas currently prone to erosion and preview sea level rise.  Photographs taken at the highest point of the tide on any of these days, at any location on the coast, will assist the project. We particularly need photos that show how current infrastructure and key natural features are impacted by higher water.
