The third and final round of the 2018-2019 King Tide Project, through which volunteer photographers document the reach of the winter's highest tides, is now taking place, February 18-20. (The first high-tide series the project covered took place Dec. 21-23, 2018; the second round occurred January 19-21.) The project reveals areas currently prone to flooding, but more important, gives us a preview of the coast in coming decades as sea level rises due to climate change.
