The Cape Perpetua Land-Sea Symposium returns for the11th annual celebration this year. The event will occur at the Yachats Commons (441 U.S. 101, Yachats) on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m.
The Land-Sea Symposium is a community event aimed at promoting local stewardship efforts and raising awareness about current research being conducted within the marine reserve. The Cape Perpetua Collaborative sponsors the event.
"Join us at the Yachats Commons as we celebrate this year's theme, Charismatic Critters of Cape Perpetua, through a night of community science, stewardship, special guest speakers, art, and food! This is our largest event every year, and you don't want to miss the magic we have planned for this years celebration!"

- Dr. Sarah Gravem - Sea Stars
- PhD Candidate Clara Bird - Grey Whales
- Dave Kollen, Xerces Society - Pollinators
- Dr. Allison Anholt, Portland Audubon - Sea Birds
Tickets are free, all are welcome, and donations are kindly accepted at the time of reservation through Eventbrite and at the event. Register here.
