As part of the Fall Seminar Series at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB), Kevin Kocot will speak on “Biodiversity, Systematic, and Genomics of the Mollusks.”  His talk takes place on Friday, Oct.18, 4 p.m. in OIMB’s Boathouse Auditorium.  The talk is free and open to all (but be aware that these OIMB talks are oriented toward scientists and students, not the general public, although members of the public are welcome to listen in).

Dr. Kocot is a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Alabama and the Curator of Invertebrate Zoology at the Alabama Museum of Natural History.

To reach the OIMB Boathouse Auditorium, park near the campus (63466 Boat Basin Rd.) and walk down the road past the Coast Guard housing.
