The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is holding a series of “town halls” around the state, to seek public input on the priorities reflected in their draft proposed budget for 2019-2021. The second of these being held on the coast takes place Wednesday, April 11, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Tillamook County Library (1716 3rd St.) in Tillamook.
Members of the public are invited to comment on any aspect of the budget. Conservationists are particularly concerned about cuts to the department’s programs for monitoring water quality and quantity and protecting streamflow.
