Join Surfrider Portland, Friends of Cape Falcon Marine Reserve, and Oregon State Parks for a morning filled with community service to give back to our beautiful Oregon coast on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. They will be hosting a beach cleanup along with some restoration projects in honor of Earth Day. The event open to everyone of all ages. Please plan to meet 10-15 minutes before 10 a.m. in the Oswald West State Park parking lot to sign in.
Please RSVP via Eventbrite so they can get an accurate headcount for food/drink.
Paarticipants will spend two hours on beach cleanup and minor Oswald West restoration projects with Oregon State Parks rangers. Volunteers will be treated to Surfrider PDX-sponsored snacks and beverages.
Bring your work clothes, some friends and a surfboard if you want to stay afterwards and ride some waves.
