Learn about how climate impacts are affecting water supplies at the Oregon-Washington Water Year 2019 Recap and 2020 Outlook Meeting in Portland, Nov. 5 beginning at 9:30 a.m. (registration at 9:15) at the OSU Foundation (555 S.W. Morrison St., Suite 2200—Meier and Fran Building). This one-day meeting includes a review of the climate events and impacts of the 2019 water year, provides forecast information for the upcoming water year, and offers an opportunity to network and learn about new regional resources on drought and climate variability. Remote workshop access is available.

This event is sponsored by NOAA’s National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) with planning committee participation from the University of Washington’s Climate Impacts Group and the Office of the Washington State Climatologist, Oregon Climate Service, Oregon State University’s Climate Impacts and Research Consortium, the WA Department of Ecology, U.S. Geological Survey, and USDA Northwest Climate Hub.
