Join the Elakha Alliance’s Summer Tribal Interns on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. to learn about the traveling cultural display they created. This display is the final project of their summer internship and will highlight the relationships between Oregon’s Indigenous cultures and sea otters. In addition to learning about the process of creating the display, you will also hear about where you can view this display as it travels up and down the Oregon coast. It will be featured in various visitor centers, libraries, cultural centers, and state park interpretation centers in the fall of 2023.
Oregon Shores was a founding member of the Alliance, and actively supports its efforts to pursue reintroducing sea otters to Oregon waters.
