Rocky Shores Public Meeting
We’re in the final weeks of the campaign to designate certain key sites under the state’s new Rocky Habitat Management Strategy. The South Coast Rocky Shores Group is holding an online public meeting Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m., to discuss proposals for south coast rocky habitat designations.
All community members and stakeholders are invited to attend the meeting to learn about and provide input on proposals for rocky habitat protections at Coquille Point, Blacklock Point, Crook Point and Cape Blanco as part of the Rocky Habitat Management Strategy.
Topics to be covered include:
* What the Rocky Habitat Management Strategy Update is all about
* Site Designation Proposals
* Proposal Sites for the South Coast
* Ways to Support the Effort
* Discussion / Q&A
