CoastWatch Volunteer Coordinator Jesse Jones will be one of the presenters at the Siuslaw Watershed Council's Watershed Gathering event, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the Bromley Room of the Siuslaw Public Library (1460 9th St. in Florence).  The event is free and open to all.

Jesse will discuss CoastWatch and citizen science opportunities, particularly the King Tides Project (final round for this winter coming up Feb. 8-10).  She will be joined by Charlie Plybon of Surfrider, who will discuss the Rocky Habitat Management Strategy process.  In addition, Briana Goodwin of Surfrider will show aerial photos of the north coast during a previous king tide.
