The Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee that advises the Ocean Policy Advisory Council on marine reserves is meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 1-5 p.m. at the Children’s Farm Home Historic Old School (4455 N.E. Hwy 20) outside Corvallis.

Among the topics are size and spacing considerations in designing the future marine reserve system, and presentations by psychology professor Chris Wolsko and anthropology professor Beth Marino, both of Oregon State University, on the “human dimensions” research being done on the current reserves.
