Strategy Meeting on Climate and Forests

The Coast Range Association (CRA) invites concerned citizens to a “Climate and Oregon’s Industrial Forests strategy meeting” on Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Newport Recreation Center (225 S.E. Avery), Room 117.  The subject will be the CRA’s Green New Deal and Industrial Forests Proposal.  The goal is to find a strategy to store carbon in the Coast Range forests as a way of addressing the climate crisis.  Anyone interested in approaching forest issues through a climate lens is invited to this free event.

You are advised to bring water and snacks, as the meeting may run long and lunch will not be provided.
