The Newport Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation is organizing a "Fall 5 Beach Clean Up" to take place on Sept. 16. After the cleanups, participants will rendevous back at Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site (just north of the mouth of Yaquina Bay, on the bluff overlooking the north jetty) for a BBQ at 1 p.m.
The locations of the cleanups are:
1) Yaquina Bay State Park
2) Nye Beach Turnaround
3) Agate Beach Wayside State Park
4) Beverly Beach State Park
5) Otter Rock/Devil’s Punchbowl
