Talk on Financing Restoration

For its summer meeting, the MidCoast Watersheds Assn. hosts a talk on “Financing Watershed Protection.”  The event, free and open to all, takes place on Thursday, Sept. 2, at 6:30 p.m.

Speaker will be Ben Hayes, of Springboard Forestry, who assisted the city of Astoria with their innovative approach to watershed protection.  There will also be an update on efforts to protect southern Lincoln County watersheds from John Thielacker.
