Oregon Community Rights Network
Water is central to most conservation concerns, as well as to human communities. The Oregon Community Rights Network is hosting a webinar, “Water, water…no longer everywhere,” that will sort through the complexities of water issues in the West and possible solutions. It takes place online on Wednesday, June 15, 6 p.m.
Speakers will include:
- Ian Keene, Aquatics Program Biologist for the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians. He is an award-winning urban forester and fisheries biologist, in charge of the GIS system for the Tribe. He oversees data management for 1.3 million acres and works with partners throughout the region.
- Kai Huschke, The Oregon Community Rights Network board president and Community Organizer for the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund.
