Wild and Scenic Rivers Talk

Well-known author and photographer Tim Palmer, a Port Orford resident, will speak on “Wild and Scenic Rivers:  An American Legacy” on Monday, Nov. 26, in the Bandon Public Library (1204 11^th St., S.W.).  The talk is free and open to all.

Palmer has built a career as a chronicler of America’s rivers and other landscapes; he is the author of “Rivers of Oregon,” among many other works.  He will provide a slide presentation on the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to celebrate its 50^th anniversary and discuss what it has contributed to American conservation.
