Palmer has built a career as a chronicler of America’s rivers and other landscapes; he is the author of “Rivers of Oregon,” among many other works. He will provide a slide presentation on the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to celebrate its 50th anniversary and discuss what it has contributed to American conservation.
