Cascade Head Marine Reserve Hike

The Lincoln City Audubon chapter is celebrating Marine Reserve Awareness Month in August, marking the occasion with a number of special events, including several hikes featuring an aspect of the Cascade Head Marine Reserve.  All hikes are free, and are led by expert naturalists.

On Saturday, Aug. 14, a hike will start at 9 a.m. at The Villages Open Space (the cul-de-sac at the north end of N.E. Devils Lake Blvd, off Hwy 101 just north of Lincoln City.  This hike will be an easy stroll through meadows, woods, and marshes, ultimately arriving at the Road's End State Recreation Area adjacent to the Cascade Head Marine Reserve.
