The Hatfield Marine Science Center’s summer seminar continues with a talk on the Oregon Coastal Management Program. It takes place on Thursday, Aug. 3, 3:30 p.m., in the auditorium of the Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building at HMSC (2030 S.E. Marine Science Dr. in Newport).

This is a hybrid event; use this link to join via Zoom.

The speaker is Hui Rodomsky, the South Coast Regional Representative of the Oregon Coastal Management Program, which is part of the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development.

About the talk:

"The Oregon Coastal Management Program, a partnership between the State of Oregon and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, protects coastal and ocean resources and ensures livable, resilient communities by integrating activities of local, state, and federal agencies on the Oregon Coast. Come learn about why the Oregon Coast looks the way it does (beautiful) and how you can be directly involved in its conservation and development."
