Everyone is invited to a community festival and potluck dinner, the “Return of the Salmon Celebration,” hosted by the Ecola Creek Awareness Project on Saturday, Nov. 19, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Cannon Beach Community Hall (2nd and Spruce).
To share in this annual tradition of welcoming the salmon back, along with the volunteers who have been working to preserve Ecola Creek as good habitat for the returning salmon, bring a potluck dish (and your own place settings). The invitation notes, “Please plan to wait until after the blessing to serve yourself.”
