Speakers on Whales and Murrelets

Oregon Chapter of the American Cetacean Society invites the public to join them for the next even in their speaker series on Saturday, January 21, 10 a.m. in the Newport Public Library (35 Nye St.).

There will be two speakers.  Era Horton, an ACS Oregon Chapter member, will present photos from the ACS International Conference Whale Watch trip in Monterey in November, 2016. He will be followed by Paul Engelmeyer, of the Audubon Society of Portland, who will present “Land-Sea conservation efforts-Marine Reserves and the ESA listed Marbled Murrelet.”

The event is free and open to the public.
