The Yaquina Birders & Naturalists invite you to join their field trip that begins at the OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC). Lead by Chuck Philo, you will explore Yaquina Bay and the woodlands of South Beach which provide a wintering area for birds of prey along with many species of waterbirds including grebes, loons, great blue herons and a variety of ducks. Join Chuck at this free event open to everyone. Dress for variable weather and meet at 9 AM at the flagpole of the HMSC Visitor Center parking lot. The field trip will last two hours.
