The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) is inviting public input on its draft Marbled Murrelet status review through Nov. 9. The document, along with background information on the associated rulemaking process, is available from this webpage:
If you wish to submit comments, they can be emailed to odfw.marbledmurrelet@state.or.us or sent by mail to ODFW, Marbled Murrelet, 4034 Fairview Industrial Drive SE, Salem, OR 97302. Note that comments submitted, including identifying information such as names, affiliations, and email addresses, will become part of the public record.
ODFW will produce a final status review report following completion of the public and peer review processes. Staff expect to present that final document at the February, 2018 Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting.
