The Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB) is offering a scientific lecture by Michael Boyle, Research Biologist from the Smithosian Marine Station at Ft. Pierce, on Friday, June 1, 4 p.m. in the Boathouse Auditorium. His lecture is entitled, "Of peanut worms and plankton: life histories research at the Smithosian Marine Station."  Part of OIMB's Spring Seminar Series, the talk is free and open to the public.  While available to all, these talks are seminars for scientists and students, and aren't oriented to general audiences.

To reach the auditorium, park on Boat Basin Road opposite the OIMB campus (63466 Boat Basin Road in Charleston) and walk past the Coast Guard housing to the OIMB Boathouse. Call (541) 888-2581 or email oimb@uoregon.edu for more information.
