The Coast Range Forest Watch Spray Free Campaign and Kalmiopsis Audubon are sponsoring a practical educational program designed to help people to understand aerial herbicide spraying in private forestlands and the state's program for notifying nearby landowners (FERNS). The event, which is free and open to the public, takes place on Thursday, May 3, 6:30 p.m. in the Port Orford Library (1421 Oregon St.). The discussion will include testimonials from affected landowners and Q&A.
