Naturalist Mike Patterson will lead an early-morning birdwatching walk at Stanley Marsh, part of North Coast Land Conservancy’s Thompson Creek and Stanley Marsh Habitat Reserve. Stanley Marsh is part of the Neawanna Creek estuarine system and provides important habitat for songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, and many other kinds of birds and wildlife. Everyone is welcome, from first-timers to experienced birdwatchers

Patterson is a biologist, educator, and professional counter of things—birds, butterflies, flowers.

The walk will be on mostly level ground, not necessarily on established trails. No toilets on site. Please leave dogs at home.  Wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the day’s weather. Bring binoculars if you have them.

The event is free, but registration is required:  Go here.
