Absent for more than 100 years, Roosevelt Elk have returned to the Tolowa Dunes environment. Humboldt State University Professor Michaela Gunter and her grad students have been studying elk activity and will give a presentation about their latest research. The presentation will be held at the Lake Earl Wildlife Area Information Center, 2591 Old Mill Rd., Crescent City from 1pm-3pm. For more info call 707-465-6191.
