Whale Photo ID Presentation

The American Cetacean Society's Oregon Chapter is hosting an Oregon Speaker Series presentation taking place at the Newport Public Library (35 NW Nye St, Newport) on Saturday Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is a free event, and it is open to the public. 

The presentation will consist of A Lay Persons Guide to Cetacean Photo ID presented by Era Horton, ACS Certified Oregon Marine Naturalist. Come and see Era's beautiful photographs while learning about the research tool Photo ID. Era has worked with Cascadia Research Collective to identify and record whales he has photographed off the Oregon Coast.
